The seven setup steps, from format and course to your branded event page.

Open Event in the sidebar. The progress rail shows where you are (for example Setup · 3 of 7). Move between steps with Back and the step list, and select Save Progress whenever you like.

Step 1: Basics

  • Event Details: name, date (and end date for multi-day events), and format: Scramble, Best Ball, or Stroke Play.
  • Tournament Rounds: add rounds with their own date and course for multi-round events.
  • Operational Settings: organizer, visibility (Public after publish or Private link only), status, and internal notes.
  • Prizes & Merch: list prizes and giveaways, with an optional image and the sponsor providing them.

Step 2: Course

  • Enter the par for each hole.
  • Course Tee Guidance: tell players which tees to use by age group, with instructions.
  • Hole Games: set up contests such as closest to the pin or long drive, with a prize and sponsor for each hole. Choose whether each game shows on the public page.

Step 3: Registration

  • Capacity & Teams: number of teams, players per team, total player capacity, and spots held back for sponsors or VIPs.
  • Pricing & Registration Window: team and individual fees, plus the dates registration opens and closes.
  • Revenue Preview: enter course, cart, and round costs to see your projected net after costs.
  • Mulligans, Skins & Raffles: list add-ons with a price and unit (per player, per team, per item, or flat fee). Golfers can add them when they register, and you can sell more at check-in.
  • Form Requirements: choose what golfers must provide when they register.

Step 4: Volunteers

List each volunteer role with how many people you need, how many are assigned, shift start and end times, and notes.

Step 5: Scoring

  • Pick the scoring format.
  • Scorecard Access: Signed QR code lets each team score from a phone; Organizer-only entry keeps scoring with your staff.
  • Turn on Organizer manual entry and Scorecard photo upload if you will collect paper cards.
  • Turn the leaderboard on or off and choose how it ranks: Gross only, Net only, or Net + Gross (golfers can flip between the two). See Leaderboards & results.

Step 6: Event Page

Design the public page golfers see. See Event page & sharing for every option.

Step 7: Finalize

Work through the readiness checklist, review your event URL and plan coverage, then select Finalize Event. From here you can preview the page, activate the event, and share it.
