Event lifecycle
Every stage an event moves through, and which controls unlock at each one.
Each event moves through a set of stages. You move it forward with the lifecycle buttons on the Current Event card in your Tournament Dashboard.
- Draft: build and preview freely. Nothing is visible to golfers yet.
- Activated: an Event Pass or Club Unlimited plan covers the event. Select Activate Event.
- Registration Open: golfers can register from your event page. Select Open Registration. Use Pause Registration to stop new sign-ups temporarily.
- Registration Closed: the field is set. Select Close Registration.
- Check-In Open: event day. Select Open Check-In (or Start Check-In on the Teams page). Scorecard QR links unlock at this point.
- In Progress: rounds are being played and scores stream into the leaderboard.
- Scoring Closed: select Close Scoring to lock scorecards. You can still enter turned-in paper cards.
- Completed: select Mark Complete to publish final results.
- Archived: select Archive Event to move it out of your active workspace while keeping its records and reports.
Opening registration and opening check-in both require an active Event Pass or Golf Club Unlimited plan. Everything before that is free.
